Do not let People put you of and keep going even while you are doing your English
If People took the time to read your Discussion they would understand
You are doing very good with your English yes it needs more improvement but it is understandable if People read it properly
So you keep going and keep learning
This is one Place where you can help your English

Please don't take it personally. It's your geographic area and your own language that is getting in the way of you writing well.
DO take English and study writing, use all the tools available to you to understand how to express your thoughts and feelings.
I know you'd make a great writer if you have this great desire to learn.
You are on the right track.
You'll get there ,I promise.
Now, lift up those sad eyes and realize you have something to learn and then show us all out here in mylotter land how great you've made yourself !

I think that is a great idea. WE are all human beings and regardless of where someone originates or the language barriers doesn't stop the desire to write and with that desire comes success.
I hope we all can help her and get her writing in order so she does not get hurt anymore.
I write too but haven't made a living at it for a while.
I agree we should help here. I think God would like that !
Let's get the gang moving and show how wonderful mylotters can be.
hugs to ya and keep me up to date , ok?

Don't give up writing, take it as a challenge. It only takes practice to get better at it. One tip I can give you is to read a lot of English materials. There are a lot on the internet. For as long as you have something on your mind, something to share, then share it. Whether they accept it or not they will learn something from you. Persevere in order for you to succeed, and of course put faith in God that He will direct all your paths.
Good day and God Bless.

Well sorry to hear that you are giving up on your writing. I just responded to another discussion similar to this one and I stated there that most people get into trouble writing when they cannot spell or use grammar correctly. Your problem seems to be mostly the use of words. Use a translator or a synonyms list to find the correct word (s) to use. It's good to learn more about the english language.

I have many friends here that did not speak or write English well when they first joined myLot. The more they wrote, the better they got! Now with most of them you can't tell that they don't speak English well because they write it so well!
Don't pay any attention to those people. Practice will improve your English and you will soon be writing well! I'd like to see them try to write in your language and not be hurt by criticism.
You keep posting discussions and I will try to put you at the top of my list for replies.

I'm sorry your feelings were hurt. There are some callus people in the world. But many people come here to improve their English. Just think, you are bilingual! Stick around and try, you already have a basic grasp of our stupid language! Good for you! Do you have an English speaking mentor or tutor? They would say something like this:
I have wanted to post a discussion for sometime now. So when I did lately some members responded "I don't understand". That made me sad.
Stick around.

Good luck with your improvement. Writing in a language isn't your mother language is always a bit difficult, but I'm sure you'll improve , so come back soon :)

Don't take matters too personal. Many of us are not from English speaking backgrounds. It is only fair that others accept your handicap in this language with open heart instead of mocking your incompetency. Nevermind about your salad English as long as you are able to string words together to make a sensible post. Like you, I am a learner too in this language but I am a fast learner and from my long association with this site I have improved a lot. You should be able to master the language fast if you interact actively in Mylot. Don't let little things demoralize you.

Aw, I'm sorry. When I see a post I don't understand, I do ask, but only because I want to make sure I understand what I am reading. I hope you do come back, this is a great place to learn. In fact, even though English is my native tongue, I am getting help from those in other countries only because I guess they learn it differently or something..

ha! ha! ha!
I just met a mylot's member.
He was about the same as what you described in your discussion.
I vet through his responses and discussions, I found out he was having a lot of problem in term of his personal character.
He complaint about the broken english of other mylot members.
He was very rude and impolite in his words.
Anyhow, our God is alwyas excuse to this person.
We should do the same as our God.
Have a BIG heart and be happy always.

When people are brave enough to join in and English is their second language it's true that at first they may not write in a manner that the rest of us can understand. Have patience, continue, do not take this as a personal jab. Remember if your discussions are responded to at least once you earn a little money. Something that might help is if you could read your discussions out loud
to someone who is more familiar with English. I had no trouble at all understanding this discussion. So keep it up.

hi sjaswon,
dont give up. instead, make questions like that a challenge to yourself and dont be shy to explain and make them understand. they know that english is not your first language so there is nothing to worry. i too get a lot of grammar mistakes and when someone corrects me, take it like you are learning in school.
there is not much difference learning in school and being here practicing. now, be brave and post your discussions. when they tell you they dont get it, by all means try making them understand. if still they didnt understand - hehehehe! that means they dont know english as well.
for me though, your english is fine.. simple and could be easily understood.
just be positive. good luck friend.

It could be that they don't mean to hurt you when they say that but because they just want to make sure that they can respond correctly. No need for you to wait to learn and pass an exam in English.
Just read, speak and write the language. Practice makes perfect. But no ones perfect. You don't have to write perfect English. Sometimes even people who uses English as their mother tongue tumbles in words when writing.
Don't feel bad. Just practice and study and do whatever you can.
I know you can do it.

I would say keep working on it. Learning another language is hard to do. Making yourself understood will get easier the more you do it. Please don't get upset when someone doesnt understand what you are saying. It is not personal.
