Project 365

Has anyone ever done a Project 365? Where you take one photo every day for a whole year?
I'm doing one for the first time ever this month! I started on January 1st! I'm 3 days into it and doing pretty good. But of course, it's pretty easy to keep it up when you're only on the 3rd day!
I decided to do this project because I wanted to really stretch myself creatively. And now that I'm at the beginning of this project, ideas are really flowing and it's coming really easily for me. However, I still have 362 more days to go... and I can definitely see myself running out of ideas quickly!
I'm really interested to see a) if I can do the whole project for 365 days without giving up or missing days b) what I learn from this project and c) how my photography improves.
So if you've attempted a Project 365 in the past, I'm curious to know how did, what you learned and if you improved! Tell me your stories! And if you're doing one now, send me a link to where you're posting it so I can follow along! And if you've never done one, are you interested in starting one?

Wow..Cool! Is this project 365 something common? I have thought of it before about taking at least a picture per day.Anything that could be form of memorable for that certain day.But I've yet to start any this year.I would be interested to start,might be on 11.1.11 ..another unique date!
I remembered i did something like this back in 2009..started on jan 1st but it does not last long. Haha..i'm not disciplined enough for myself.what i did was talking my own selca (self camera) each day and keep it just for the sake of it.I'll took my own pic depends on my mood that day..usually i'll just smile for each pic.Heheh..
Soon,i'll start on this kind of thing,not on my selca but a pic that worth the happening on that day .. :)

It's a fairly common practice on the internet! Photographers usually upload their photos to a 365 blog or on Flickr or something. There are even groups on Flickr specifically for Project 365 photos! Sometimes people have a theme for their project... A common one is to take a self-portrait every day for a year. What I'm doing is using a creative special effect lens called a Lensbaby for all 365 of my photos!
Yeah, I never thought I'd be self-disciplined and self-motivated enough to go through with it, but I made a decision that I would! And I'm going around telling everybody which will help make me feel really really guilty if I don't go through with it!
