Beautiful! But sorry I am not from Vietnam. Nevertheless the Philippines has beautiful caves too. There are real exciting ones like that in Sagada and Palawan. I've been to those caves and I did enjoy seeing that dark place with different stone formation inside. But it is really hard, you will need strong knees and good eyesight to survive your tour inside the cave.

Wow, that is amazing to think that it has been hidden to the outside world for so long! I am going to share this with a friend of mine who is going to Vietnam to live for at least six months in a months time. Him and his family may be able to visit it.

That's a nice view. IF that's real, it's gonna be very beautiful when one sees it in person. From the photo, it's quite spectacular and i can't imagine when i'm right there, taking in the awsome sight in front of my very eyes.. haha =D I dunno vietnam has got such a beautiful side to it, and it's very natural. I like it! I must make it part of my travel plans

I saw this earlier this morning on Yahoo News. It's just breathtaking. I would not have imagined something like this could have been undiscovered for so long. It's beautiful to look at but I could never venture into a place like that. I'm so claustrophobic that it would be impossible for me to go into any type of cave. I will look forward to seeing more about this as more news becomea available.

Hi syoti20, I had been to Vietnam few years back but I hadn't visited the Spectacular Cave shown in the image. Might be it's was not included in our planned tour schedule. Seemed that we had missed that beautiful huge cave. Anyway I was glad as well we had paid our visit to many wonderful tourist sites. I enjoyed the fantastic cruise in Ha Long Bay. The landscapes there were really fascinating. We enjoyed eating delicious seafood as well as having sightseeing of the beautiful seascapes through the window
Happy posting!

That is a spectacular cave well worth visiting in Vietnam. I haven't yet been to Vietnam yet but hope to do in the future. If I visit Vietnam I will travel around by train and bus once I have arrived there by plane. In different places in the world in my younger days I have seen some stunning looking caves. During my trip around the world I saw a lovely looking cave in the Blue Mountain region of Australia. Later on that trip when I was 21 years old I saw a cave in Indonesia. I climbed up a ladder to get to it. When I was 33 years old I had the most exciting adventure in my life. I went to the ATM Caves in Belize. I had to swim into the cave with a crash helmet on my head. I did much climbing and saw Mayan pottery plus old bones. It was a very exciting and memorable experience. I find it hard to go to caves now that I have a son in a wheelchair.

I would love to see those caves! I bookmarked the site and thank you for providing it, I will explore it later when I have time. It looks absolutely beautiful!
I love to see pictures of caves but caves give me the creeps. All that rock around me, what if it collapses?! I guess I'm claustrophobic (fear of small spaces) when it comes to caves!

Such a beautiful cave indeed. I had no idea Vietnam had beautiful sites like this. Shame I am one of those that thinks of Vietnam and envisions gloomy war areas.
Thanks for broadening my horizons and sharing the delightful picture. I am going to read the article further.

What a beautiful view and a lovely cave. What you say is absolutely true Vietnam is a place where there are a lot of caves some yet undiscovered. We must all be grateful for the couple who have painstakingly discovered such a cave for the benefit of all people. Its a nice topic which you have highlighted well.
