Yahoo account trouble

I'm having serious trouble with my Yahoo acount (the one I use for paypal, myLot, ptc sites, facebook, and general communication. When I tried to log on, it would not let me. I correctly entered my Yahoo ID and password and when I tried to log in it would not let me. It simply said "Invalid ID or password." I tried going to Customer Care and using the forgot your password but it won't work. I think my account might have been compromised. What do you suggest I do?

Have you tried accessing your account with or without the @yahoo.com suffix?(the opposite one what you have tried) and you can also try to login as sometimes it just does not work. Just try these two things maybe then it start working. And you should always use a alternate e mail too. If u dont then try now. Happy mylotting. Regards, harry.

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing this trouble. Compromise? Possibly, I suppose.
Be sure that you are accepting cookies from Yahoo and that you Caps Lock is not on.
Continue to try to use forgot password. Enter your user name and it should ask for the answer to your secret question.
Failing that pursue contacting customer care.
When possible always add a secondary email account for your other accounts associated with your primary email account.
I sure hope that you can get this resolved. What a pain!
