What it takes to be successful?

There are lot of words that is always associated with the word success,some are namely, determination, perseverance, hardword, attitude, knowledge, persistence, time management etc.My question is what do you think those successful people have?As what I have observed those people who exceed in their chosen field are those who started from nothing and failed several times. What are the traits that helps them achieve their goals and endeavors in life?We are all dreaming of being successful, me too I am a dreamer, dreaming of achieving something in my life. What must I have?

For starters I would have to say education. The drive to become successful is important along with persistence and a goal. Being successful doesn't have to be a dream but can become reality with hard work. But again I say education is the key to success.

Thanks for your reply, I agree with you, I haven't heard of anyone who become rich because he knows nothing at all, mostly those who are not earning a decent income are those who did not get enough education. But as what I have observe formal education alone is not a guarantee to success, there are lot of educated people who end up working in the company of those who did not acquire enough education, formal education and self education I think might work.
