Are identites a good thing ?

Is it good to identify as gay/straight/bi/etc? Is a good to identify with a generalized label ? Would it be better to identify in terms in what you have tended to do in the past, what you doin the moment, and what you do ?

The identities you describe sound like stereotypes to me. It is a horrible practice to get into. When you prejudge someone you aren't giving them a chance. It is best to get to know someone before forming an opinion.

Yeah your right they are sterotypes. I would not what to sterotype people.It has happend to everyone at some point inthere life. I'm not realy saying I have the habit of prejugdging people , but thoght it would makr agood topic.
