Leonardo deserves an Oscar!!

I've seen all the movies you mentioned except Revolutinary Road. He is certainly a talented actor and I can certainly see the argument that he deserves an Oscar. Or, at least deserves serious consideration. I agree with Bionicman, though. Until Leo shows some versatility I don't think he'll win the Golden Statue.

Leo is definitely one of my favorite actors. in the past I thought he would never shake off the titanic persona that made him famous but he has proven me and everybody that doubted him wrong. He obviously excels in dramas and thrillers. Although I wish he would take on other roles, and i am yet to see a comedic performance of his. My favorite movies of his are the departed, inception, blood diamond and shutter island. It's true he deserves an oscar, but like others said, he has to compete with other more versatile actors like johnny depp (that guy is on another level of his own). I'm sure sooner or later hes going to win one, even if its long overdue, it just needs time. As long as he keeps churning out excellent performances and adding more genres to roles then we all have nothing to worry about.

He was very close to Oscar with Blood Diamond, but they thought it wasn't good enough.I liked him more in his previous roles.He deserves an Oscar, but Inception doesn't.So, I'm confused.Let's wait and see.

I agree that he's good, I have seen some of his film and the man is an actor but I guess missing an Oscar make him a lesser actor!

Oh man!! The way he acted in Departed, it was too good. I have recently watched Inception. It is marvelous. But truely, I believe he should have received oscar for The Departed.

"Catch Me If You Can" is still my favorite. He's a good actor but not much versatile. You want see him doing comedies

I second the motion. He just deserve it. I like even before, The Beach, and all his other films. My favorite is also "Catch me if you can.".
