I killed my puppy dog

I wanted to keep my puppy warm and put her on the heater but after 5mins she overheated and died in my arms on new year day. I can not forgive myself and she's in front of my eyes all the time, I feel so guilty and beside myself. she was only 4 months.

We are all human and make mistakes. I have two dogs and two cats and I am far from perfect with them. Years ago my husband ran over his sisters cat pulling in the drive way from work. He thought he was on top of the cat when he hit it so he decided to back up. But he was not on top of the cat and by backing up he ran over it again. His sister is about 6 years younger than him so he felt really bad as she loved that cat. It took him awhile to get over the situation but over time he realized people make mistakes. The best advice I have for you is talk it out. I know talking things out helps me over come things especially guilt.

OMG. I am so sorry to hear that. I once had a puppy too but my parents gave it to my neighbour. But it is okay dear, people make mistakes. Forgive yourself and forget, but don't do it again.
