If we can manage the money then the money becomes small matter. But if we are governed by money, the money becomes an idol that enslaves us, and tails to the wasteful and will stay long so draining. what principles should we have for us become financially independent?

what an interesting question! have you ever heard saying "to be in the money"? It's a sentence used in finance to say that someone has profited.
But if a person really wants to be financially independent must be "OVER the money", in the sense that must be really aware of its value. People have to be rational and spend money only on important and vital things, futile and useless ones are just waste of profits.
To me, to be financially independent doesn't mean to have money or to earn it on your own; it ALSO mean not to be slave of it.
Hope I answered your question, have a nice day! :)

Rightnow I'm still trying to figure out how can I make money to manage and help my self financially healthy and in proper condition. It's true that money ruled mother earth and so involve all of as people who can still feel air rushing and oceans screaming.. I really hope that it's never to late for me to feel that wealth and security for I am all by my own.. and I dont want to be miserable all this days of my life.. So, maybe for me, being focus and having the strength to move along what ever's on my way, not look at the past, cntinuing to carry on and be the successful man I want to be in my own vision is my best principles.
