Breakfast is the first meal of the day, typically consumed in the morning. The word is a compound of "break" and "fast", referring to the conclusion of fasting since the previous day's last meal.
Breakfast meals vary widely in different cultures around the world, but often include a carbohydrate such as cereal or rice, fruit and/or vegetable, protein, sometimes dairy, and beverage.
Nutritional experts have referred to breakfast as the most important meal of the day, citing studies that find that people who skip breakfast are disproportionately likely to have problems with concentration, metabolism, and weight

I always eat breakfast before going to work. It gives me the much needed energy to be on my feet for the morning. To me, it is important that we should always eat breakfast so that we will not be cranky in the morning.

yes i never left home or will never leave home without having break fast.
it is also helpful to our health.what you have told about fasting is absolutely right.because bile is secreted in a constant rate and it contains an acid called HCL,which can damage our digestion system.so to stop it from damaging our digestion system we need to something at the morning.

I know it's supposed to be the most important meal of the day, but I almost always miss it. I'm just not hungry when I wake up, and then by the time I do get hungry, it's lunch! I've been trying to drink a glass of orange juice and maybe eat a granola bar, but I just don't like forcing myself to eat. Everyone says breakfast is important, but I thought we also weren't supposed to eat when we aren't hungry? I don't know what to do.

We are always required to meet, because that man never ceases to move, from morning to evening, sometimes even until midnight.
Just like a car needs gasoline to run, human being requires energy to move and the morning is the time we start the day to do the activity. And as its driving force, the breakfast is a ritual that we must do, given our bodies sugar levels are very low in the morning.
Breakfast
Breakfast may sound trivial, but very vital for our bodies, especially if we are required to work all day total. Often we ignore the breakfast with the excuse the lack of time, or bored with a breakfast menu that's it. In fact, breakfast is not just a booster stomach, but also provides energy so that we can move well, the brain work more optimally, and not fast asleep.
His name is also a breakfast, we do not have to eat a full menu with a portion of a mountain. The amount of food we consume about one-third of a regular diet. This means foods that are consumed during breakfast is not only filling, but also nutritionally complete and balanced.
Although minimal in quantity but the quality still must be considered. Breakfast is right must contain energy, protein or builder substances, vitamins and minerals as regulating substances which we derive a lot of vegetables and fruits.
Influence For Brains
The brain is a supreme God-given gift to mankind. Location of human intelligence inside these organs, for the provision of regular food is good and would interfere with the function and workings of the brain.
More-over in the morning, after a long night of rest human. Morning is the best time to provide food for our brains, one of them through regular and nutritious breakfast.
A scientist said that breakfast is a special food for the brain, this is supported from a study which showed that breakfast is closely related to mental intelligence, in a sense, breakfast gives a positive value tarhadap activity of the brain, the brain becomes more intelligent, sensitive and easier to concentrate. This will indirectly bring a positive influence on ourselves in activities, whether at school or at work.
A good breakfast should contain lots of carbohydrates, because carbohydrates that we consume in the morning, will stimulate glucose and micro-nutrients in the brain. Because carbohydrate is one nutrient that produces energy which serves to stimulate the brain.
Carbohydrates themselves are divided into two types, namely simplex carbohydrates and complex carbohydrates. In terms of intelligence, which need to be consumed is a complex carbohydrate. Own complex carbohydrates are carbohydrates that contain fiber and vitamins that can be digested and absorbed slowly, so that sugar levels rise slowly in the body. Carbohydrates are widely found in many types of rice, bread, corn, potatoes and pasta.
Complex carbohydrate foods can provide more value to the functioning of the brain, which helps focus the mind to learn and facilitate the absorption of lessons. You could say the level of concentration and absorption is better than individuals with no breakfast.
A survey conducted in children and adolescents mentioned children who had breakfast with foods rich in complex carbohydrates, has the performance, more able to devote its attention to the lesson, a more positive attitude, cheerful, cooperative, easy to make friends and can solve problems well. As for children who are not breakfast, not to think well and always looks lazy.
How important breakfast is for the body, even more so for our brains work, therefore, awalilah from now on our day of activity with a good breakfast. Make sure the breakfast we did not leave by following the correct rules, adequate and not excessive.

I mostly skip breakfast and just take a cup of tea or sometimes a piece of slice with it. But after reading your facts I am thinking to start a proper breakfast. Now question is how to manage the skip habit?.

I really think it depends on the person. I used to never eat breakfast and was always active and slender. It seemed that once I ate something, my stomach would "wake up" and feel hungrier later on, but if I didn't eat, I didn't get so hungry. I know it sounds strange, but my stomach used to be very sensitive. Now... I wake up hungry a lot of the time and I eat breakfast almost every day. I have gained weight and don't have the energy I used to. That may or may not have to do with eating breakfast, but it could.

Well I'm in trouble, because I'll more often than not skip breakfast. I'll often have only two meals a day. Some days if I have food handy, I'll snack on the run during the day; but I don't like taking breakfast or even lunch because it makes me sleepy; often my first meal'll come early evening; it's horrifically unhealthy I know. But it's the way I operate. I see food as something you give in to when plain ravenous; I'll keep hunger pains at bay through endless cups of tea or coffee. I hate taking food during the day (and all social eating); and even when I do eat, it'll be alone while watching a movie, after which I just flake out. Don't get me wrong though...I like food! Just when I want it!

I absolutely love breakfast in the mornings and there isn't a day that I go without! Once upon a time I use to vary what I had in the mornings but that has changed now in that I have two boiled eggs every morning and nothing else! It takes a little time to prepare but not too long. I also love porridge although I've not had that in a while.
I rarely have lunch so I always make sure that I have a good breakfast and this definitely helps me to make it through the day and eventually arrive at the evening meal where I prepare something nice for myself. Thankfully I don't have a weight problem and I do love to exercise on a regular basis. It's funny as, I have just finished breakfast and that consisted of two boiled eggs with toast and jam together with a hot mug of tea!
I think that a nice grease up is ok from time to time as well. Bacon, eggs, sauages and beans together with fried bread, this is a great start to any day! Andrew

Yes, breakfast is the most important meal in the day. Having breakfast everyday means maintaining our weight, metabolism, the function of lever and also maintaining out heart. Well, those what I read from the internet. And they say, it is better having late breakfast (9-10am) than skipping breakfast altogether.

Somemonths back I had anemia as my heamoglobin level was very low. Around 7. That time I was prescribed to eat more in breakfast and that too only those foods carrying iron. From then onwards I do very heavy breakfast after coming from gym. In lunch also I used to eat heavy but not like morning breakfast. The name itself tells why should we eat heavy food because there is a long gap between the dinner and breakfast timing. There is a phrase also..."Have breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a begger.
