This movie is Fantastic. When my girlfriend & I watched it, we almost have'nt talked because were to busy watching the special effect and understanding the whole story of film. Its another thread of futuristics idea on film making. Kudos for the Producers and Directors of this film. It going to be an inspiration for other film maker.
Another, I've notice that the story is like a God and Lucifer story, somehow they have a similarity. For God created Lucifer as his assistant to do a great worshippers at heaven but Lucifer became Pride and Boastful, he almost want the greatness of his Creator. Like Kevin (Father of Sam in the film) and Clu (likeness of Kevin) Kevin create Clu so he have an assistant to be able to help him building a Grin (a cyber world inside the different dimension inside the computer system) But Clu became selfish and Prideful, he betrayed him. But in the end the Creator of the Grid "Kevin" and his son Sam defeated Clu for his wrong motives to enter the real world. Which Kevin sacrifice himself to be able to get out from the grid his son Sam with Quorra

or i can just watched this and understand it? or it just another movie that doesnt need that much attention to understand the message it sends?

I enjoyed this movie a lot as well. I wish I had re-watched the first movie before seeing it though as there is a lot I did not remember. My son re-watched the first movie before seeing the second and was able to understand some things better. But, I still enjoyed it. When it comes out on video, I plan to watch both movies again. I was impressed with the cinematography in this movie. And you're right, there is a parallel between God and Lucifer. I wonder if that is what the story writer was going for? Very interesting!
