Denmark has pretty hard laws agains piracy as well. Well you couldn't go to jail but you can get a very high fine. I wont say that I don't own anything illegal but not much, I try to use original software and buy my music and DVDs.

I live in the USA, and it's not uncommon for most people to simply download their games, music, programs, etc. I've never really been one to do that myself. Ecspecially not for games, I don't see the point of illegally downloading it, then you just get the people who went out and bought the game into trouble. Like one of the massive multi-player games I do participate online, that I bought at a store. Is constantly sending out newsletters about illegal players who somehow broke through all their defense walls and have been downloading the software and playing. Now, the rooms are always over crowded, making it hard for real customers to get in and play. And they've been shutting down the rooms a lot, from having them freeze up, or doing massive upgrades to try and get rid of the illegal players. While I once played every day, now I rarely log onto the game, because I'm tired of dealing with all of the bull crap that's going on.
