We finally got past the big game.
As an Oklahoma Sooner fan it has been rough watching as we lose to smaller schools. After losing 3 straight national championships and 2 straight fiesta bowls, which I watched in dismay. It was flippin awesome to watch as we won this year's fiesta bowl. It was awesome to see the relief on bob stoops face. He deserved it. Now we won't have to hear the usual jeers of choklahoma. This year we can keep our heads up with pride. It has been a long time coming.
It didn't mention last year's sun bowl, because frankly people don't seem to appreciate winning the smaller bowls.

Wow do I Know how you feel. I am an Ohio State fan and we finally go the 'SEC Monkey" off our backs last night. We were 0-9 in bowl games against SEC teams before finally beating Arkansas last night. We have also been considered 'chokers' by people and called over rated since we make a BCS game almost every year. We almost blew the game last night as well! Congrats too the sooners, we know how you feel :)

Take a deep breath.. It feels good to not have that monkey back there doesn't it.
On a side note : I am also a wolverine fan, and my grandfather is alumni at Arkansas. So I was going for the hogs. Anyhow, even with our differences I am very happy for your win because no one wants to have to listen to the nonsense that comes with losing. After what happened to the big 10 over the weekend you guys saved their butt.
