Yesterday news highlighted FaceBook's potential investors that would put the part owner of the Facebook to one of the youngest billionaires to ever come out in recent times. He will be worth around 9 billion US dollars. It is the people, ordinary folks like you and I, who use the Facebook day in day out make him and others filty rich. Do you think, it is time now that he shares this money with people who make him rich, just like what mylot is doing, paying its valued users?

They are providing a service, so there is no real reason why they should pay the members. If the argument is to go deeper, then it is the users who should pay them. That is the nature of business. As it is there are social sites which require their members to make a monthly payment to get certain privileges.
If we feel that it is wrong for them not to pay the members, then there are other social sites we can go to.

Hi jak: I know some people that waste a lot of their time using their Facebook accounts. Facebook have all our personal informations and as you have mentioned, its owner became rich thanks to us. They should do it. However I don't think they'd consider this option, just because FB is really popular and people will use it no matter if they pay us or not . Unfair, but truth.
