We can still find Good Samaritan

Thanks for sharing. Stories like these inspire people to do good. In this day and age, people have become selfish and materialistic. Putting first what is good (good for them) than what is right. Knowing that there are people who still have pure hearts and intentions makes you feel like you also want to be like that. It's very inspiring.

Although many are poor they still are humbly honest which I find more and more to be. As for those who resort to stealing simply to eat. This is a fine example of someone who certainly depends on his good deeds to get ahead of most where as the others get in trouble.

haha =D There are always good samaritan around in the world, just that they belong to the minority group.. lol =D It takes a lot of determination not to keep whatever things we found, especially those priceless ones.. haha =D Of course, there are alot more greedy and selfish people around in the world, thus the word 'finder's keep' cmae up.. lol =D I wont be a good samaritan for sure because i dun like to be one.. haha

Hi syoti: That's a beautiful story. And yes there still some Good Samaritan here on Earth. If we see only the wrong things we don't notice that there are still beautiful things and good people around the earth. Everything is not lots my friend and these stories give us hope on humanity. ALVARO

Well, i am proud to say that here in the Philippines, there are a lot of Good samaritans who did just like that. There was even one who returned a huge amount of money (in dollars) that was left at the airport, and the man who found it returned it. He was even tearful, because he himself was in a financial woe because his mother needs an operation and they lacked the money, yet being brought up in a nice manner by his mother he returned it. I guess he was given a reward and her mother was helped by a foundation who saw the news on TV. I was really touched by news such as that.

yup still some good people out there. I have done the same found a fellers check book had phone no on the checks caled and he came got it he was very very happy

You bet we can and the more we notice the more we will see. Good people, doing good works are everywhere, to bad they don't get the same press as the bad guys. Just smile at someone, and open a door for them, you too will join the ranks of the good guys. Blessings

There are still good samaritans in this world. they are just not as easy to find as they used to be. sometimes we will meet a good samaritan but won't believe them to be the real thing. The world can make us cynical of the good samaritan and that is a sad thing to achieve.

I read this story, too. If it was me, I am not sure I would be that good in returning the money to its owner. But with such lots of money, I guess I should. Who knows it was a laundered money or stolen money. I found the good Samaritans of these days are amongst the poor ones. The rich have become greedy apparently.

Being a good Samaritan is a good thing. However, with all the tales of how our good intention is taken advantage of, it can be dangerous. Imagine when you return the money, the owner turns around and say that some of the money is missing and that you stole it and charge you for it. Now that is a heart warming story. There are still good people in this world. I know I would have done the same thing. It would be a little scary to find that much money just laying on the side of the road. I would really wonder where it came from. But it did say there were checks and cash in the bag so he must have been able to tell who it belonged to. Sometimes we may find ourselves thinking that there are no good people left in this world. We hear about the bad ones but not so much the good ones. It's good to hear someone knows how to do the right thing. I find it inspiring, and encourageing. I hope he somehow knows that his good deed is appreciated by so many.

yes we still have good samaritan but i consider each one of us a good samaritan in our won ways every one has the right to become and called a good samaritan.. :)

hi syoti I loved it and thanks for sharing. He is an honest man and I hope his honesty will pay off for him by some one giving him a great job. There are honest people in this world and they are usually not the glowing successes but the ordinary working people who are honest and trust worthy and do care about other people..

People do not realize that even if we have nothing we have more than most. This man is proof of this in my opinion. There are many out there, just not seen in the light of the human society. Some are even called stupid for not keeping what they found to help themselves. There is more to a person than what money brings. If I found this money I would do the same thing, find the owner. Yes, I could use money right now since I am one step from being homeless. I wouldn't know if this money was to keep someone else from being homeless..

I believe, too there's still good Samaritan now a days, people are basically good-at-heart. Violence and bad things happening around won't change the fact that people care for each other. Why, because we breathe with God's breath in all of us whatever creed or religion we belong!
