Shambhala , The secret land...........Myth or reality?

In Tibetan buddhist tradition,Shabhala is a mythical kingdom hidden somewhere in inner asia.It is mentioned in various ancient texts including kalchakra tantra. According to the myth, the last king Kalika will destroy the world after coming out in the world. Should we beleive in this or is this just a sign of warning?
