I just finished watching Slumdog Millionare and I certainly think its one awesome movie.I love the part where the host gave him the wrong answer, writing on the mirror of the comfort room a big letter B.For a sec. I was thinking why would the host give him the right answer? ..If I was Malik I would've answered B(given by the host)no second thoughts, but Malik made a wiser choice not choosing B instead answering D without hesitation even if he isn't sure about it.I realized how silly I was..I could've been a total loser if I were Malik.I guess WE should TRUST our insticts sometimes.I love the movie, how cool is it to be a millionare ??rags to riches ei????

Hi,
Yes i trust myself. But honestly i did not like the movie at all. It's a story of my city Mumbai and iam not very impressed the way they have shown it.
Also the movie is blown out of proportion and is definitely not worth getting so many oscars.
The way they have shown Mumbai is not the truth and its giving a bad image worldwide.
Cheers,
Tutul

I didn't know that people felt that way. I live in America and never heard anything about this subject. Thanks for the information. Most people in America feel that a movie is going to be dramatic to keep people interested. I think most people accept that some facts will be stretched in a film that isn't a documentary.

hi tutul0045.. nice to hear from you.I don't really have a clue about Mumbai so when I saw the movie I never really thought about the place..though,I agree that maybe if as you said Mumbai is not much like what is shown in the movie ,I wish it was more realistic.thanks for sharing your opinion..

Hello Game and Tanya,
Yes its better if people consider it a work of friction only. Honestly we do have a huge slum area and its the biggest of entire Asia.
But if u look at Mumbai in an open angle u will find this place as the most multi cultural, so its always wise to yse yr brain while making a concept abt certain places.
Cheers,

I definitely trust myself.
Trust in youself is a good sign of confidence. I don't know how difficult it would be to not second guess yourself with so much at stake. Even with trust in yourself you could still be wrong.

Slumdog Millionaire ! No, I have not seen the movie yet. I would very much like to see it. It was an academy award winner , and many people are talking about the interesting story, and the excellence acting there. I should buy a DVD of that movie.
