Kids say the funniest things

Since my oldest daughter began to talk, I've said that I'm going to keep a journal full of all the funny things she says. It's almost 3 years and another talking toddler later, and I'm starting today. I know I'll forget all the silly things they say and do. These memories are way to precious to lose forever. To kick off my journal of all their "-isms," I thought I'd share a couple for your reading enjoyment. - My 2 year-old is being potty trained. The other day she was sitting on the potty after dinner and said she was done. Daddy asked her what was in the potty and she said, "Umm...hot dogs." (We had hot dogs for dinner.) - While making cookies with my 4 year-old, I told her she could scoop the dough onto the cookie sheet. She thought about it and said, "Mommy, I don't want to be the scooper. I think I'll be the scoop licker." Does anyone else have any similiar (probably funnier) stories to share?

The scoop licker story is pretty funny. My son is four years old now and didn't potty train fully until after he was three and a half years old. So, right after we started putting him to bed in underwear, he had a few accidents. The first time that it happened he came downstairs and told me that he needed new pants. When I asked him why he needed new pants, he informed me that "My bed peed on me."

Oh my goodness! That's so funny. We've definitely got some funny potty training stories around here. My oldest in almost 4, and she still wears pull-ups at night to keep the bed from peeing on her!
