i like watching movies very much. Eventhough I have private theatre in my home and 700 dvds and cinema projector in my home, I prefer to see movies in cinema theatres only. Majority of the people like to see movies in cinema theatres only rather than in home. What about you?

I am a movie lover from your suspense, thrillers, horrors, some comedies. I feel comfortable watching my movies at home. This is how me and my family interact with each other and I love the possibility of pausing, rewinding and fast-forwarding the movie as I please.

Nothings beats the cinema. They have a large digital screen and surround sound. But I guess, since you have a home theater, which I don't, you're able to have your own private theater experience like a cineplex. But, like the guy earlier said, I think it's the feeling of the cinema with the smell of popcorn and all that makes up the experience. Plus, certain movies require a collective audience experience to laugh or be scared with (e.g. ""Paranormal Activity" and "Drag Me to Hell"). Honestly, if I hadn't seen the latter in theaters, I don't think I would've considered it one of the best horror movies of the last decade. And who can forget hanging out? Hanging out and watching a movie in theaters with your friends are also worth more than watching it at home.

I just watched True Grit on Monday. You just can't beat walking into the lobby after buying your ticket and smelling popcorn in the air. I prefer to go when the crowds are as few as possible (I prefer Mondays) but it's still nice to have the opportunity to socialize.
