I am really, really annoyed at this 5 foods you should never eat advertisement - simply because they won't tell you on that site!!!!! GRRRR!!! lol Isn't it so simple that they'll just list the 5 foods? But no, they have to complicate things and ask for money an make a huge great big deal outta it!\ I'm wondering if anyone actually bought whatever ebook they're selling and list those 5 foods? I'm so curious, lol. In the meantime, I'll try to avoid 5 foods of my own.....chocolate bars, chips, cheesies, hamburger meat, and pork!

Celery!! just EAT IT!!! Actually red meat if cooked without fat is very good for you, you need it to help with the daily iron intake for your blood count.

Masihi- The top five foods to avoid are as follows: Fats (saturated and polysaturated) Sugar (refined) Processed Foods High Fructose Corn Syrup High Sodium According to Dr. Oz, you should avoid: Mystery Ingredients White Foods Head Fake Foods High Fructose Corn Syrup High Sodium Foods The thing that is needed is simple common sense. If you cannot pronounce it don't eat it. Most processed foods are all chemicals and offer no nutrition what so ever. High Fructose Corn Syrup has some really bad side effects. Refined sugars simply convert straight to fat as the body cannot use that type of sugar. Sticking with all natural foods, using healthy fats, and such can prove to be healthy. You can still have chocolate, simply buy organic.

I really do like Dr Oz! :-) Thanks for the valuable information - is that what's in the 5 foods you should avoid website thingy, or only Dr Oz's site?

I wouldn´t trust what they say even if I had money to throw away giving it to them. If they wanted health for everyone, they would give the names and maybe sell a recipe book without those ingredients. Everyone has some foods that are not good for your body. They are different in each case. I gring my own meat and prepare my own hamburgers at home and they taste very different from the boughten ones. Happy posting and don´t drive ALL the chocolate away from your life

Now that would be a much more ethical way of doing business, sell a cookbook! :-) I heard you can get meat grinders, that's an excellent idea, they put in so much crap in the pre-made burgers :-s And don't worry, I'm munching on chocolate chips right now :-p

Hiya Masihi, I have seen that site as well it goes something like five things you should avoid then you get to the site and they don´t tell you anything like they say. My main 5, sugar, too much pasta, too much Potato and Rice and other fried things I have already cut them by half and it´s working. Of course I do have my odd go back into old habits days. But I still keep going. Also too much tea or milk that is my biggest one as I love tea as well. I would not want anyone to pay for five secrets either. So that´s my five secrets there must be a lot of other five secrets going around for free. Halving all those I listed above make you feel much better I can tell you.

Oh, but milk is good for you! :-) As for pasta and rice I try to stick with whole-grain kind, not the instant or white stuff.

I have finally learned to discipline my brain into remembering the old phrase, a moment on the lips forever on the hips. Anything on the high trans fat I simply will not eat. As for the ebooks, I have yet to date to purchase any as with a bit of diligence you can find them for free on the net.

Deep fried foods are a big problem here in the Western countries, major clogging of the arteries. I guess nobody here on MyLot discovered the 5 foods because we're all too smart to buy into that scheme!!!
