Yep, you heard me right. Alittle over half of the money that was suppost to help THIS country...went to foreign banks. Why? Those were American tax dollars...they should have stayed in this country.
What do you think about this? What should be done about it?

I knew a large portion of the TARP money left the country, I just didn't know the percentage...and that's one of the reasons why I was opposed to IT and the stimulus and.... Who do you think's been helping to hold up Greece, Portugal, Ireland... Germany's not been doing it on its own. I do have to disagree on one point...it's not American tax dollars...it's borrowed money from China and maybe some from Japan, the Middle East...money we have to pay back with interest!

Oh I know...and us tax payers will have to pay it back. It makes me sick. I was never in favor of the bail outs and that as before I heard about this BS. This should be criminal.

We could have spent the money to create those jobs. Or other things...or have about NOT SPENT IT AT ALL. All we did was make our own debt go higher to help out other countries that hate us.

There would be no jobs created. Companies are controlled by greedy rich individuals. They don't care how much middle income America has. They're worried about lining their own pockets by making products as cheaply as possible. They'd send the jobs overseas anyways.

I think it's all part of the growing trend toward global governance.. People (will) think we are working toward world peace and who dares to be against world peace (and what better way to fund it than with american tax dollars, before our system becomes over taxed and broke like others. And in reality what can only result from a global governing (body) is waay too much power in too few hands (one body) which always creates a monster/turns into a beast..

This is just disgusting. Congress is always putting up a smokescreen to shield what is really happening until it's too late to do anything about it. I would rather keep my money then give it to a government that will just throw it away. The debt is a complete joke and the government seems to think it doesn't matter if it never stops growing.

Don't get me started.
