Last Sunday the discussion that was held in our youth’s club was on “The Indian dogs”. The majority of people present there were still in the view that even now Indians are like dogs. Some youths also mentioned that India would have been a well developed nation if still British had been here. Indians are still using those left over things of British and other rulers. Mainly the Indian laws which are not fit Indian culture. No more family values, there is an increasing family courts. The education system, no more Gurukulas (where the students lives with the Guru or teachers, also teaches how to be good person in society) now there is much of schools for business and students are like factory products. The style of food, there is lots of unhealthy foods. Media like televisions much shows less of Indian culture and traditional values. The dress codes in office, schools and other places all mostly resemble western culture. Those temples, mosques and other worshiping places no more that purity and spirituality are going down. Those Indian traditional arts are vanishing. We are still slaves to the British law. Now those laws are used by Indian to exploit Indians. I do respect British in many aspects in giving India how to be systematic. But as an Indian I feel we have lots of our own things.

ya we are very much influenced by the ruling of british, thats a fact.
but we cant say still we are following them and going as their slaves.
india had gained many major developments from the british rule.
and the influence had created some impact on the indian culture also, but it doesnt mean that we dont have a culture.

Different people have different feeling, thinking etc. Not all people think and compare indian peoples as dog. Here more people may corrupted, the law for people is not so tight,,,,, still peoples staying here with full independent. As there is no systematic rules so the peoples a enjoying with there own nature without fear.

Fine, if we are dog, we are, as dogs are Loyal. Other things like developing nation, then we are happy to be called as developing nation instead of being called nonindependent. Our politics is still a virus but we are learning our own lesson on our own experience. our food is more healthy than butter and cheese. education system has being changed for kids growth. Our law will be for people as we have lot of variety in religion. Ya their are many things which still needs to be changed but we will do it on our own experience not on others. As an Indian, i still love my country and i am proud of it.
