eating a well- balanced diet is a key to good health.
serving meals that combine fruits, vegetables, whole grains, low fat dairy and proteins will ensure you and your family live in a healthy lifestyle.
1. Get to know your family's nutritional requirements by looking at the food pyramid.
2. Shop smart and avoid fried foods and low-nutrient snacks.
3. Plan to feed your family a balance diet by serving at least five servings of
fruit and vegetables everyday.
4. Create meals with low fat protein like fish and poultry.
5. Avoid dessert loaded with fats and sugar.
6. Keep supply of fruits or even vegetables on hand for snack.
like sunflower seeds, slice of apples and grapes
instead of junkfoods and the like.
By this way, I am sure that you and your family will live healthy
as ever. Make it a habit.

hi,
my family stayed in the province for how many years,
and this is an advantage to our health,
because we eat fresh vegetables everyday,
twice or thrice eating of meat, chicken, and more on fish.
we also eat fruits that rich in vitamin c and potassium.

You gave some very good points here. I don't have a family here anymore but I know for myself I try to keep carrots and cucumbers already cut up in the fridge. That way when I go looking for a snack they are handy and ready to munch. I try not to even keep all those high sugar foods around that way they are not there when I go looking!
