My question is... do you like him? If he's embarrassed, let him take his time. You'll never know, maybe he's just gathering more courage. But don't go into conclusions yet. It's better to be safer that way. If it is really you that he likes, then I'm sure the time will come when he is able to tell you how he feels. Do nothing...unless you are hoping he will revert to his words on that night, which as you mention it was some time ago. If you are hoping he will revert, it could mean you do intend to further the friendship into a relationship. Remember he, whether purposely or not, is claiming he doesn't remember a thing, so the likelihood is those could be words of stupor. As one lotter mentioned, don't trust a man when he is drunk. My take is don't trust the man YET even if he is not drunk because words are cheap. Observe his actions and see if it is consistent with his words. If he really like you, given that you have raised the question, I as a man would have been honored and pour my feelings out without being embarrassed. You raising the question is an invitation to share both sides affinity to each other.

Well, I would not put very much stock into this as it seems very unimportant to this other person. He does not seem to care very much and you should not leave yourself at the bottom like that. I would not allow that. It is however a know fact that many young boys are shy when it comes to telling a lady how they feel. So really you are the best one to answer this as you can see and hear his actions and words that he directs to you.
