how long was your labour with your first child?

I have one boy. I went in to the hospital at 2:30 am. I ended up pushing ten times...for about 10 minutes...and he was out. Had him at 7:30 in the morning.

I was in labor for 52 hours. They wouldn't help me in anyway cuz I wasn't a week over due and even though my contractions were every 3-5 minutes they wouldn't help.

14 hrs. no pain meds. They finally broke my water when I said "I'm giving up"

my son was born 7 days before his due date, i went into labour at 9pm and he was born at 8.22 the next morning so i was in labour for 11 hours and 22 minutes!It was a very long and painful labour but as soon as i saw my baby and held him in my arms all of that pain i had just endured went away!

My labor was 12 hours long. And after all of the labor I ended up having to have a emergency c-section

yet not ..I m not married..I would love that period of having a child

I was lucky to.Me and my husband decided to induce me.sounds crazy but someone told me the sure fire way was to go at it like rabbits and sure enough i woke up at 6 am with what i thought were gas pains and had my daughter at 3:36 pm, i was only in hard labor 25 minites. my son was the same way we were at the hospital at 10am and he was born at 2:45pm. I do belive that was the sure fire way!!

I had a hard labor. I got induce at 8 on a tuesday. I had forced contractions from the petocin all day and still did not go into real labot. So, they took me off of it at 7 that night so that I could eat and have a break. The pitocin contractions stopped about 8, then they gave me any insert to help dialate. They were going to start me back on the pitocin the next morning but around 10 I started having real contractions and my daughter was born at 4:03 wedsnesday morning.
