Saw a discussion in Ten Cricket as to how team batting averages & inning scores have drastically increased over the years. Is it due to : 1) More aggressive batting 2) Smaller grounds & better bats 3) Declining quality of bowlers due to excessive cricket 4) Change in rules that favour batsmen 5) Pitches have gone flat over the years Would love to hear your opinion on this.

I would say all of these. Also remember that there are some teams that come to the party only to get themselves kicked. For e.g. Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and West Indies. Then we have pitches in Sri Lanka which yield 1000 runs per innings. Batting has also become very aggressive with teams now averaging run rate around 4 in half the innings. Rarely do we see the 2 or 2.5 run rate these days. Cheers! Ram

A good cricket is the Test Cricket. Most of the experienced batsman says that they always love to play in Test Cricket, where they can face the quality overs. So, a Good cricket must always have a good and experienced bowlers as well as well potential batsman.
