I was wondering why we scratch the part that is itchy and why not tap, tickle or kiss it? And who do you think invented it? This is a very serious query.

i think no one did teach you what you can do in case your body part becomes itchy right? i mean its a natural instinct perhaps to scratch when something becomes itchy... i see dogs scratch... i see lions and tigers do too in animal planet channel....

Nobody invented it.. it is a natural reaction to an itch... Have you seen a cat or a dog scratch? they were never TOLD that that is how you get rid of the itch.. it's just what is done.

Well the reason why we don't tap, tickle or kiss our itchy parts is because that wouldn't get rid of the itch. And nobody invented it. It's just a natural response.
