Any of you feel anything aching in your body because of staying online for a long time? Well I had a sore shoulder for using the mouse and like an arthritic pain on my fingers from typing and clicking, my eyes are okay and my back is just fine, what about you? What are your woes? and what steps do you make to relieve or alleviate pains due to staying online for extended periods of time

I use the computer every day for at least a little while. Those aches and pains get worse the older you get and the longer you work on the computer. My right hand hurts from using the mouse and sometimes my arm and shoulder ache. I use a muscle rub sometimes, but if it's just my hand, I put it in hot water for a few minutes then massage it and that helps.

I suffer the same ache and almost exactly at the same place and we do almost the same thing to alleviate the pain, haha what a coincidence. I'm relieved to know that it's not just me

Yeah I know a lot of people complaining about eye problems, just don't know if changing monitor settings can help, maybe they got it a long time ago while still using those old CRT monitors

hi louievill I just got up and walked around the room , shrugging my left shoulder as it was aching from typing for s long at a time a
and also I ate a little too much carbs at breakfast so am feeling a diabetic grogginess. jUst drinking water and walking around the room has helped me to feel less pain from my shoulder. Also moving does sort of take the edge off my grogginess too. Also I watched a flock of seagulls fighting over scraps from the garbagic bins. They seemed to have a pecking order and the older one seemed to be the winner.lol

Ya and I really admire your stamina when it comes to being able to post and reply to discussions considering that you have really something to show (38 thousand plus is no joke), my God it would put a lot of younger people to shame LOL, you even have time to observe nature, yes they do have a pecking order hahaha very much like people. Was wondering, you must have been a real healthy person during your prime both mentally and physically and that still seems to manifest itself upto now, wow my salute

Mostly my lower back from sitting too long. I do try and take breaks from time to time to stretch and help with the pain. But there are days I get so wrapped on what I am doing that I do not realized it until it is in great pain.

funny thing is sometimes we already feel a little pain and know exactly what's gonna happen if we ignore the signs but we are just so addicted or engrossed in what we are currently doing that we totally neglect steps to prevent what's coming next

haha.. your very young and you already have back ache, anyway lots of unexpected things happen when we use our PC for a long time, guess they should make a more comprehensive study as to the bad health effects, thank you for responding and welcome to Mylot
