Favorite Band/Singer?

Who's your favorite band and or singer? Music has made a big impact in my life and I've really been enjoying listening to it ever since. Whether it sounds hyped or depressing, I can't go a day without a song. Well, not literally. But I enjoy different genres ranging from rock to pop. A singer whom I think is awesome is Nina Persson. She's the leader of the Cardigans and I esp. liked their song titled "Hanging Around." Well what are yours?

I'd have to say that my favorite band would be Stuck Mojo. It blends metal with smooth melodies and nice female vocals too. Good guitar riffs and screaming is a plus too for me.I dont enjoy alot of the pop that is out there.Rap is fine too but i havent bought a rap cd in awhile, but the last cd i bought was Stuck Mojo: declaration of a headhunter. Highly recommend people get that cd.

Hanson - I have been a fan for 13 years and I am still going strong. They are truly talented and just fun to be around. Their love for music is contagious and their songs have meaning. Not all of their songs are about love...especially The Walk album. They went to Africa and their experiences there with AIDS directly impacted their life and from then on teamed up with TOMS shoes and other charities to help those people. We have now built a well (almost 2) and a school for those families and children. They are making a difference in lives around the world and I can only respect them more for that.

Well I enjoy many types of music, and right now my favorite rock band is paramore the whole band is awesome and the lead singer usually sounds amazing and she seems musically open minded and she did a great job working with B.O.B Hayley is really good at what she dose.
That's my band choice for 2011 but I'm typically an 80s music lover though I always keep an open mind because good music is good music.

I also listen to different types of music,depending on my state of mind;sometimes I listen to classical music,jazz,blues and soft rock,especially during week days,while during the weekend I usually switch to hard rock and metal.There are so many great singers that it's hard for me to choose one,but I will mention Bruce Dickinson as my favourite;as for the bands,it's even more difficult,because there are many great bands and it's very hard for me to choose just one;however,I choose Dream Theater for the complexity of their music and especially their masterpiece "Metropolis pt.2:Scenes from a memory."
