Just when you think you are doing okay, health wise, it hits an illness. Never fails... No matter how many vitamins you take, no matter what you do to keep your environment clean, you wind up with something horrible.
That's what ended up happening to me, first I thought it was nothing more than allergies, then the next thing that I know, its even worse. Sinus infection and bronchitis.
In some cases, I think its our bodies way of telling us we need to slow down and try to relax more. Guess, I've been overdoing things.

I'm sorry that you are not feeling well. I guess the flu can really get the best of people no matter how healthy they are. When I get sick, I know because I wind up getting a sore throat and then the flu will overtake me. I hate it when I am coughing all the time and have a runny nose. I hope you get better soon. I find that rest and some warm soup helps me feel better in no time.

Thanks so much for your well wishes, I am feeling better today (Monday) go figure, however, I was lucky enough to get a flu shot. If you haven't I highly recommend it. What got me was bronchitis. From what the doctor said, it was because my body was having way to many problems with the allergies I was fighting with and thus led to a worse illness. Now its time to find a way to keep from getting bronchitis should I have a severe enough allergy attack.

I am sorry you are not feeling well. I have had tonsillitis for almost a week. It is horrible to start out the new year sick but maybe this will be the end of the sickness for the rest of year. MAYBE! I hope you get to feeling better!

Be careful with that. I ended up having my tonsils out because of it. Thanks for the well wish, I hope you get to feeling better to. I agree it is horrible to start the new year off with it, but at the same time, we all put ourselves through such huge amounts of stress during the holiday season, its no wonder that no more people are ill that way.

It is amazing how quickly people are getting ill and then having terrible issues getting rid of the illnesses. The interesting thing. A lot of them are very different in the types of illnesses. When I saw the doctor, I asked what was the largest amount of illness he was seeing. He said it was odd but it was a large variety of things. Strep and flu were on the top of the list of course, but the biggest problem was a huge influx of people who never had a problem with allergies before are now being pounded by them.
I guess its because not only are all the viruses getting stronger but so are the pollens in the plants around us.
