I have been eating a lots of homemade hamburgers these days I can not afford the fast food kinds. I do not like the ones they have in the food markets, the patties, they do not taste like they did years ago. There use to be when you could go to the grocery store and purchase some of these patties and went home and made yourself the most delicious mouth watering homemade hamburger ever, with all the topping, lettuce, tomato, pickle, ketchup, and mustard. The patties these days taste so bad you just leave them there. I hate McDonald hamburgers to I really love mines and mines do not come with that smell that McDonald has that make me sick to the stomach.

My tummy cannot afford to eat the burgers infast food joints. I sometimes love to see the pictures the and my mouth waters. Sometimes too, I go in and buy one of their concoctions. A second later I repent.
I make cheaper hamburgers at home made with real meat that I grind (the parts that donĀ“t grind well are left for mest broth), an egg, fried diced onion, spices, a bit of bread crumbs.
Mine are a lot healthier and I KNOW the animal that was ground for meat.

I am also making homemade burgers for my hubby to take for lunch at work. So far we were able to save from buying expensive burgers and I can put whatever I want in making my burger. I always make vegetarian burger which I think, very nutritious and good for the body.

Homemade burger is the best because you can made it to your taste. And, all the toppings too. But, don't buy from supermarkets, make your own. Also, don't put too many spices and bread crumbs. Make your own sauce too, to compliment with your homemade burgers.

When we compare the food found in market varies a lot from our childhoods day. The food use to be tasty. The ingredients used in making the fast food are of minerals to keep away from stale and smelling. I really wonder whether this continues, can we opt for buying from the market.

I have always made my own hamburgers. I use ground meat with little fat content (many times I grind my own meat)salt and pepper, fried diced onion, an egg and some bread crumbs. After I fry them I can add the extras: tomatos, sweet pepper, hot peppers, red onion rings. They taste completly different from the McDonald thing. That makes me sick too.

I also like to make hamburgers at home, I sometimes even prefer them over McDonald's or Burger King. But normally when I make them at home, I make sure I keep them marinaded for atleast 24 hours, because if I make the same day, I buy them, they taste like nothing. I have tried those Bubba Burgers I think they're called, but I particularly don't like the taste of them.
My favorite burger place has to be FuddRuckers, they have the best burgers and top it off the have the seasoned potatoe wedges and with cheese. Those are the best!!! For the price is not that bad, I personally find them to be best burger spot around my area and/or neighborhood.

Yeah basically it's back to basics, in the 60's and the 70's we did not have that much food chains as we have now and I remember my late aunt make hamburger patties for us kids that were just delicious. One thing nice with making your own patties besides being cheap and you can have more for your money is you have control of the type of beef you will use, what kind of extenders, the oil, spices, veggies and how well it would be done, it's also fun to make the kids help out.
