Blackberry Torch

I plan to buy a brand new Blackberry Torch. But my friend who has Blackberry Torch told me if this phone's battery will easily drained and we need to recharging the battery 2-3 times in a day. I think such thing is annoying since we will use Blackberry no matter what varian of it for keeping online 24 hours in a day. Does anyone who has Blackberry Torch here experiencing a same thing with the battery lifetime? Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

i don't know if the torch has this problem but if it is as so it would be realy bad because battery life is really important for portable devices!!Considering this is a rela expensive device it can be really not good if the battery should be so weak..

As i know, almost all blackberry phones have that same problem. Almost every blackberry users i knew told me if they had battery lifetime problem. But the only one has no such problem in hard is blackberry onyx. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

I have a Blackberry Bold and I have the same problem. The battery won't last even when I'm not using the phone. I always have to turn it off so the battery won't drain.

Currently I'm using Bold 9780 aka Onyx 2. I use a double power battery and it can keep my Blackberry on for a day. But when I asked to a store seller about a same battery for Torch, the answer is there's no such battery for Torch at this time. I saw Torch battery before and it's smaller than Onyx 2 battery so it must be drained more quickly since the handset use both touchscreen and keyboard.
