Yes I too like my name.I am an Indian and a Hindu. My name is chayapathy.Do you know what it means.Chayadevi is the wife of Sun God.Pathi means husband. Therefore my name means husband of chayadevi ie Sun God.This is a rare name and I don't know how it struck my grandparents to select this name.On enquiry I came to knowe that some big shot in my ancetors was a distinquished royal administrator in olden days.Inspire by that my grand father decided to name me after that distinquished ancestor of ours.I have not actually distinguished myself in any field and I am an ordinary person. Another interesting thing is I am 75 plus and I have yet to come across a person with my name.Don't you notice speciality in my name.So I am proud of my name...

Generally Hindu names are after some God as we have many names of Gods in Hinduism.I do not know about other religions. Thanks a lot for your comment..
