I'm 30 years old and if I could only chose one song that I'd hear that makes me think of the carefree teen years it would be Youth Gone Wild by Skid Row, what song takes you back?

I'm Losing You, by Rare Earth. My boyfriend had that 8-track and we used to drive around town playing it. Now you know how old I am! :-D

LOL! When I was a teenageer 8 tracks were the newest, most advanced thing. It was the first time we could have our own music in the car without relying on the radio. I remember being so mad when they came out with cassette players because I had so many 8-tracks and didn't want to have to buy all new cassettes. Then, of course, that happened all over again with CDs.

"The Power of Love" by Frankie Goes to Hollywood is a movie that always ends up taking me back to my youth, it's been on my head forever haunting and brings me back happy, sad and sorrowful memories of childhood back in the 80s.

I don't know what it is about a song but it can instantly take you back to another place and another time. It is like certain smells, like apple pie in the oven does the same thing but smells tend to take me back to my childhood.
