Have you tried or heard about Adbrite?

I had a business partner before and we established a website that only last for 2 weeks I guess. We tried this Adbrite but we only earned like $8. We didn't have the chance to know if they are really paying because their only payment method if you're outside the US is through checks. So, my question now is, have you tried it and are they really paying?

I also tried AdBrite some time ago. But unfortunately as I was not able to get much traffic on my site so I didn't earned much and was not able to cash out. But I have read about and am sure that it is a legit site and you will be paid by it.
