I think the best gift would be something that you worked hard for or put effort into. You could cook him his favorite dish or a special dish that you haven't cooked before. That's what I did last Valentine's for my husband. The only downside of this is food is edible and it is not something that he can keep forever. Though the memories will last of course.

I have been thinking of that. But the problem is, I am not good at cooking. :) However, I am planning to make a scrapbook for him that showcases our lovestory. I think that is the best that I can do. :)

Yes! It is probably best if you ask him. But you would most probably be getting the same response as every other person would say, "It depends on you, I will accept any gift coming from you.", or something like that right? I get that all the time from him... So I just ended up being more confused. Well guys like gadgets very much, pc games as well! I bought my partner perfume on Christmas and he loved it! Or if your guy likes necklace or bracelet, you can buy him one!... hmmmmm.... Shirts as well are nice gifts but they are very common and nothing surprising...

Thank you for that.. You are right. i better ask him. I hope that he will give ne a direct response. I hope that he will tell me things that he would like to receive. Anyway, I will just see what will be the flow of this.

Us guys have varied tastes and where some of us would love tickets to a sporting event, others would have no interest whatsoever. I thing good presents would be some sort of gadget, for a guy who likes gadgets. Or discover what sort of deoderant he likes. In fact that it the best way to find out what to buy, but asking him if he likes this, or likes that, without giving him the idea that you are fishing for ideas for a present for him. Listen to what he likes to talk about, and then try and match that up to a present. Good luck, because I don't find it easy buying presents for my wife! _Derek

Actually, I have difficulty buying gifts not only for my boyfriend but for my friends and family as well. I have this fear that they might not appreciate the present that I have given them. It would be a waste of time and money if they will just throw my gifts away. Anyway, thank you for your advice. I just hope that I will be able to find a present that fits my boyfriend..
