Does your stomach growl out of hunger?

I work as a sales girl, and am 25 yrs old. My job is such, that I have to skip a meal or two. Sometime i don't even eat for a whole day. One day, I was having a discussion with my boss' partner who was enjoying a delicious hotdog. I was hungry, as I hadn't eaten the whole day, and it was nearing 2:30. My stomach started to growl We were talking shop, coz it was an official discussion. The guy didnt offer me a bite, and ate on. My stomach at first wasn't very loud, but within less than a minute, it started to scream! Hunger was gnawing at my poor little belly(I'm not obese, i weight 56 kilos, and am 5'9"). He even asked me if I was allright. I had to tell him I was hungry. he still didn't offer me a bite. Not even cash. My stomach really growls. And at the worst times too.
