I do have two pairs of doves and this is my first time ever to care for doves. A nephew gave them to me a month ago and you know what one of them has already laid two eggs. It is most likely that my doves would multiply easily. So would you care keeping doves too?

It depends on how much money and time you want to spend. I personally hate parakeets. I love bigger birds. Parrots are colorful and talkative, and I think that they are really cool, but I personally prefer corvids, like ravens, crows, magpies. They are very smart and even know how to make and use tools.

All birds are good pets aslong as you have plenty time. theyr very intelligent animals.I would love to have a large parrot but it would be unfair as i have dogs and a young child. They can get depressed if they dont have enough attention and jealous of other pets or family members. It depends on your individual situation and how much money your willing to spend as to what bird would make the best pet for you. :)
