Legalize Marijuana to Boost the Economy

Should marijuana be legalized to boost a sagging economy? it would eliminated arrests for marijuana possession, add billions to the economy, create jobs, and boost farming in this country. What do you think?

As ridicules as it actually sounds this could maybe work lol, but wont happen unfortunately.
