Yes about 15 Years ago my Flat got broken into and they stole a Vidio Recorder that I had only just bought and also a TV. They actually managed to get in with a Key, so we knew it had to have been the Maintancees Guys but they never got found. They had shoe Prints and everything but still did not find the Person Aparently.

Yes, Video, TV and computers are things that thiefs usually go for. I can´t believe they never found the guy who did it.

Yes, they broke into my house and stole my computer, video games, gamecube, cd's, jewelry, color Tv, my daughter's perfume and lawn mower machine. The good thing they were insured and got them replaced by my homeowners's insurance company.

When I was in college, I was going to this college that was in a place that were full of thieves. You have to be careful and alert and you have to keep your bag at your side at all times.
Well, on two separate occasions, I was so busy chatting with my friend that I didn't realize that someone already opened my backup and took my cell phone!
You think I would have learned my lesson but on a separate occasion, I was also busy chatting with my friend while walking, I didn't notice that someone pulled a fast one on me and took my cell phone that was in my pocket.
Thieves that are working around that area are really well-trained. They actually steal for a living.

The only things I can think of tha I have ever had that were stolen was on one occassion a trench coat went missing. On another occassion a pair of Rayband dissapeared. I have also had some records go missing, but I have a pretty good idea who was responsible for those thefts.
I have never claimed insurance on any of them although I suppose it would have covered the loss. It just didn't seem worth the hassle.

I have had things stolen from me and it sucks! I even know who it is and all I can do is wait while the troopers deal with it. I understand that they have a lot of other cases to deal with, but I wish that it could just all be over with and with a little justice. The situation happens to not be a burglary, but a theft instead. The person that did it was allowed to be in the house because he is the son of the parents I am staying with. (I am living with my boyfriends parents) So technically he did not break into the home but he did break into our room. We had a hasp lock on it and he just pried it open and when he was done stealing some of our movies, XBOX 360, IPOD (80G), XBOX 360 video game, etc. he just put the hasp back in the door all half @$$. It was not but flesh with the door like it was suppose to be....the screws were sticking out and barely in the door. So, that is my first real experiance of losing something that was valuable. What about you?
