I was searching and saw this mtura. They mentioned that they are supporting mylot. And guess what they also mentioned the pay rate of posting. How true is this? Would you believe, or the user is just phishing around?
Pay Rate
You can get $0.01 or more for each discussion started or each response posted to a discussion. But your post should be at least 3 to 4 lines long to be considered for earnings. The more is the quality and relevance of your post, the more will be your earnings.

This what admin had to say here on myLot yesterday about the rates here on myLot:
"there is no set rate per post....or set rate per anything for that matter. It is accumulative quality activity, determined by a black box software algorithm"
http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2470666.aspx
Anything else is speculation and FALSE!
If you follow what myLot tell us to do in their FAQs you will earn but you will NOT earn for 'just posting' here because it is a DISCUSSION site.

Hey Syoti, I am the admin of the site you mentioned and have corrected that info on my site. It has also been brought up into my notice by Owlwings and I thank him for that. What I was trying to mention there was that we can generally earn 1 cent or more for our posts if they are meaningful and explanatory. The words 'supported by us' just mean that we accepts referrals for those sites and will be paying 50% of what we earn through them.
Now the info has been edited to state it clearly that the pay rate or the algorithm used for calculating earnings has not been disclosed.
Sorry for all the inconvenience.

I dunno about that even though i've been here for so long.. haha =D All i know and care about is me getting paid by mylot for my efforts here.. lol =D Other than that, i wont know about what's happening behind the scene. Also i think mylot is supporting itself but not mutra because so far there's no other forums operating in the same way like mylot

i have never heard of mtura before today. I would say that if they state that this is the pay rate then they are probably right. Since i started with mylot several months ago i have not really earned that much money here and so i would agree that the pate rate would be about 0.01 per discussion or response to a discussion. i am not sure how many lines we do need to write but a friend of mine and somebody else since her did tell me ages ago that for us to earn money with responding we should write atleast 4 or 5 lines. Since i was told that i have always tried to write atleast 4 lines, but sometimes the response i am writing back can only be a short one and so i will not be paid, but this does not put me off responding as i atleast like to keep up tp date with responding even if it means no payment, atleast they get a response and a short response will not take up too much of my time. This is also the second time that i have heard about providing good quality and relevance to the discussions to earn more, and also to add things like picture or videos could also help. I do think that it is great to provide people with this information so that they can quickly start to earn more in mylot, rather than just earning the odd 0.01 sometimes per discussion. Also i have heard that using the search button helps to gain you more money. Hope this helps others as it has helped me as my money seems to have gone up more. Just wish i had more referrals that way i could earn even more without having to do as much work as i do.

I try getting into the said site but it stopped. I will try again later.
I thought that if you start a discussion , it will earn more than the rate for responding on a given discussion. It's just the same after all.
So, that's why when i tried starting discussions only for a day to observe how much it pays ,i was disappointed to observe that it doesn't pay more than when you respond to a discussion.
I am really confused on their rate for paying on this site. Maybe they could more or less be honest on what they want for the discussion to be.

A good quality discussion is:
1) a topic which abides by the Guidelines and actively encourages good quality responses
2) a good quality response is one which is descriptive, relevant and original and (optionally) invites good quality comments
3) A discussion is NOT a discussion until the discussion owner maintains and advances it by commenting on the responses with quality comments.
MyLot reward 'good quality participation' in discussion. It is NOT a 'paid-to-post' site. See the FAQs under 'Earnings'.

hello,
WOw! you really interested about how does myLot paid people. Well, by the ways is it true that every earning must consists of 3-4 lines to be considered an earnings?Well not.
Hmmm but someone said it already to me that I should do a discussion or reply to any discussion with a good quality so that I will be paid

It looks legit but I thought the pay rate was a bit higher. And 3 or more lines? How can you express what you can in more then 3 lines when sometimes all you want to say is a 1 or 2 line post? I'm not going to say I agree then list 3 or 4 reasons why. That would get boring fast and what if the steps you list only require 1 line. lol!
Take care

I've check this out, but haven't read the FQ much. I'll be reading this sooner. Until I'm convince with their policy, I'll check it out if it's alright to sin up. Maybe testing what the site is all about. There's no harm done by just checking out!

This is very good information. A lot of times I just answer with one or two lines. Is this just for starting a discussion or does it include when someone posts a response? I want to make the best of MyLot and want to make sure that I am doing it right.
