I guess there may be some truth to that. There are not many people out there who have ended up with their first love for life. I would imagine the reason for that is that most folks would fall in love for the first time when they are quite young and because of immaturity and a need to grow it is rare that the first love will be the one they will settle with. There are of course wonderful objections to the rule!

Yes i am also one of those boys who didn't get their first love. I am sure many of the boys also are in the same condition but they don't know how o approach the girl or make sweet talk or do something romantic. That was the problem with me as long as i can remember. I couldn't confide in anyone also. I became close to her in 2 years though. We used to talk, hangout chitchat and all. But when i made the move and popped her the question she just said no. Then i was heartbroken. After a while we are just friends now...
What i don't understand is why do the girls want us o be friends even after the breakup? Do they want to use us or something? Because my love had used me pretty well asking me favors and stuff to which i have learnt to say no couple of months back. What about you?

actually she started talking with me in schools and tutions .....she used to come at my home as my father is a teacher then we used to talk....we became good friends but not very god one...but later our school got over means after 10th standard she got moved away for further education and my family also migrated for my education.....
may be that was a crush of mine on her but i knew she likes me.....after her again one girl came into my life and same thing happened that still we are friends but not in contact because our classes got changed....my bonding with the 2nd one was awesome ....everyone in college used to think we were a couple ....and after her one more girl has came into my life now.....we fell in love with each other....firstly we became best friends then we dont know how we fell into love......i didnt proposed her and she also didnt proposed me......
i was not having any intension wid her ... that i should propose her or something like that we were just friends...

I was married 45 years ago, it was an arranged marriage by my late parents, there was no premarial love affairs nor after marriage, we are a very very happy couple..
Well i know women/men those have multiple relationships, many are not happy, it is like putting legs on 2 boats at the same time, and you know the result lol..

thanks professor....arrange marriages are always better.....they maximumly do not fail......my parents were also got married by arrange marriage system....
and i have got a nice girl in my life now and we have decided to get married at the age of 25 or above .....

What do you mean by failing to "get" their first love? does that have something to do with the intimacy of the relationship?

hmmm...yes what you said is obviously right. max boys in india fail to get their first love. Because the problem is on both sides girls do not believe the boys that much easily and also there are so many cases where there is attraction more than the love.and another problem in india is love marriages are not accepted by the people around them and hence the persons who are in love are fearing about failure and hence the are willing to leave their loved ones rather than rejected by society. Any way according me, mine is also a failure. she does not accepted me because she says that she loves her parents more than me and she adds that she dont want to annoy them by loving me.

at least you told her that you love her....but before i could tell my first love my family got migrated to another city and later i got to know that she also moved somewhere else.....
thats why i didnt got my first love but now i have got a lovely and caring gf and future wife.....
