Any recommendations on how to boost up your credit score? I am a college student and I don't understand when I go to apply for credit cards they tell me you don't have much of a credit so how do I gain credit? It's kind of retarded... Any suggestions would help.

You can only boost your credit score, if you are employed and with a salary that meets their required bracket. In addition, you also should be able to show them proof that you are employed such as Employer's certificate. Without those, you will not pass their standards.

I don't know where you live but I live in the United States and I have a credit card with CHASE- I got approved even though I'm a college student with no job and income. I also have Macy's credit card which is a shopping mall store. Good luck!

I think to be qualified to have a credit card is a proof that you have an income that reach their limits and that proof should be a income tax return or a payslip from your company if you are employed.
