Cymbalta and Tramadol Interactions

I have been on Cymbalta for a while and was recently prescribed Tramadol. I looked it up to see if the 2 would have any negative side effects if taken together and it said that it was POTENTIALLY FATAL!! I'm just wondering if anyone has taken these two medicines together and was there any side effects or anything. I'm afraid to take it but my pain is intensifying and I am almost out of options at the moment.

If I were you, I would print out the article and take it with you to see your doctor. I am sure that your doctor knows what he is doing, and given you the correct dosage so that the extreme 'potentially fatal' side effect will not arise.
If you are worried, speak to your GP and allay your fears.
