Why dont people not respond to some real topics?

maybe if you post a topic with typos in it people will respond more. Change your avatar to something cutesy or sexy, or a movie star pic. Those seem to have the most hits on them.

I think that people are lazy and don't really want to tax their brain. They don't have to think long about what to type when asked what color their eyes are. The number of posts they make become more important than the quality of the response.

That goes to show the majority of people on mylot are not interested in real discussions. I wish there was some.

it's because too many people are here just for the money and don't care that this is a message board, not an atm. It's a shame, but many even post "I just want to earn as much money as I can I don't care about anything else", and obviously the don't read the terms of service. Oh well sounds like mylot is trying to catch those people though which is good.

I respond to alot of different topics. Put me on your friends list and i will answer all your real topics

makes them think to much,shoter awnsers = more posts=more money or so they think

I know that people do respond to real topics--I've seen quite a few of very thoughtful responses to some very serious and possibly controversial topics. I imagine, though, there are a number of people who avoid topics that could start arguments. People like that would only answer the softball questions (favorite anything, pick one thing over another, etc.). Of course, my answer to this is nothing but conjecture based on the mere dozens of questions I've looked into.

I will admit the first night I found this site I was replying to every post no matter how dumb it was,but now I am trying to reply only to posts that I truely do find interesting. I think the reason people don;t respond to real topics is because it will take them too much time to actually write a real responce.Which will cut into their lets reply to easy ones and try to get more money time.
