I think I would have been more surprised if Lara and Ganguly had been picked. Age has caught up with these gentlemen and T20 is definitely an young man's game!! As far as Dravid is concerned, he would just be happy to play with any team at the current moment. Cheers! Ram

I think all the fans of these players are disappointed but we will have to take it because every season there are many new players coming in picture, so these experienced players will be replaced by some young player. I feel bad for Dada as he is one of the greatest players we have in World Cricket. Thank You for sharing.

Most teams have banked on future stars rather than past starts. Little surprising considering that older players like Kumble, murali, Gilchrist had done so well in the previous editions. Having Australian coaches & Australian advisors too has had a major influence on many teams bidding for players. This season of IPL has started on a Bad note. I hope that we can see some high level of cricket. But this is very unlikely with many mediocre international allrounders in many teams.
