Breastfeeding and introducing a pacifier

My daughter is 2 weeks old. I introduced a bottle this week and she did great. I will be giving her a bottle every so often as it is easier if I am out or busy with school work (strictly breast milk though). But I was curious about a pacifier. I will be introducing a pacifier eventually. Most kids pick up something for comfort they like to hold onto such as a blanket or stuffed animal. A pacifier is less likely to get gross over a few months if you know what I mean (blankets drag the floor and stuffed animals collect things). I am curious if there are any other mothers breastfeeding that introduced a pacifier? At what age did you introduce the pacifier? Did it cause nipple confusion?
