Can mylot allow foreign language posting here?

I am not discriminating other languages, or anything like that. I just respect mylot rules, as we all have to post English here. I won't mind to learn other languages, and I can practice it too. But English is the official language and the only language we used to post our discussions here. I saw some people post other languages, such as Spanish here. I just have difficult time to understand the article, and I am tire of using those online translator to translate the whole thing, because the translator just didn't translate it right the whole meaning. What do you think? Should we use English the only language here?

ONLY ENGLISH is allowed here.
Posts in other languages should be reported and will be deleted by admin.

no on mylot only english is aloowed right now!!So probably the administartors consider that english is a language that almost all people around the world can understand and so here you can explain your opinons just using this language..

I also agree that English shall be the only one language for Mylot. Actually English has become to be a global language. Even if English is not my mother language, but I still prefer to use it since other foreigners can see it. Mylot welcomes anybody all over the world.

i think english is language universal in this world,so I think if allowed to write other language in mylot.translate online didn't right everytime.

hi,
as i read at the guidelines, using a foreign language is not allowed here in mylot,
and i think its more good if we use one language that can all read it,
and this is the English language.
because if i cant understand what they say using their language,
i could not response on it.

Well, like you have already discussed here, English is the only language allowed to be spoken here. If they allowed the different languages they would have to have a language tool as there are a lot of people like me who their only real language they speak is English, and hey this gives the others from around the world who do not speak much English a chance to use their english more and learn from others as well.

Mylot specifically says that we are to only use English in here, as that is the only language that we can read and understand. I know there are some that don't speak English, but they are trying to speak it as well as they can, and from what i have seen, there are some that do really well, and others not quite as good. It is hard to understand some of the discussions in English, as it isn't the native language of those that aren't Americans. I know I can't read anything but English, and it is like the others have said, that any discussions not in English will be deleted. Take care, and have a very good day.

I thought the same thing with you. How great if we are allowed to use language other than English. I thought we could ask more people to join this site and we could explode this site like facebook. There will be many community here and this site would become the greatest network site. Unfortunately, mylot only allow us to use English. English is universal language but there are many people couldn't join mylot due to language problem. Mylot have the rules and we should obey the rule if we want stay here, don't we?

Nope, only English is allowed, and I personally think that is good. THat way everyone can participate in all discussions if they want. It is the most fair way, really!

no mylot does not allow us to post in any other language except English
Well English is a universal language and more people know this language as compare to other
if they allow to post in other language then i would become difficult for us to read other post made by other also we might not be able to take part in all the discussion as they would be in a language we can understand
so i think the rules of mylot are good

Unfortunately I must agree I think this site posts and threads should be in English.
While there are websites that will easily translate text for, problem with that is new members cant copy and paste. I know there are also programs such Babylon which will easily translate any language.
myLot deciding to go English only I think is a good thing, otherwise things might become a bit confusing around here.
I understand where your coming from, Not everyone speaks English but maybe in the future myLot will also other languages or heck maybe open up a whole site devoted to different language discussions.
