I just love this song that my son's former track coach wrote. What do you think? Hit or not...

I think it is really good. Maybe I'm biased because I knew the guy but I'm amazed at his singing voice. I never knew he sang and I can't tell you how many times we sat & talked while the kids were in track meets.
Please take my poll too when you answer this discussion. I want to present him with the results when I get enough responses!

Hey Jill! I listened to the song and felt it sounded nice. Sort of slow for my tastes but nice and pleasant sounding. The words were nice and alittle catchy. I would probably give it a 6 or 7.

I agree celticeagle about the song being a bit on the slow side... that isn't usually my style of music either but this particular one I really like for some reason. I guess knowing the person who is singing it somehow makes it mean more too.

hi koalaths yes I think he has a hit there and I liked it'and I am sort of picky about some music like that but the words make it really great now I am not doing the poll as we could get this nice

Thanks Hatley and your welcome! I just bought his album this morning because I found out it's selling for only 5 bucks this week only! I was so excited so I bought it via Paypal and downloaded it right away. :)
I'd forgotten about some of the rules here on myLot. I was a very active member here about a year ago but had a lot happen in my life so I kind of lost sight of it for awhile. Thanks for the reminder.

Hello dear Jill
Be carefull when you use the word poll at mylot, it is considered forbiden to actually create a poll here but this is rather about the song not about a poll in fact, let's hope it will not get deleted (in case it does you know why at least :) ).
It is a pretty great song, and i would listen to it for a few times before i would stop it, so that is saying a lot in my case, as songs i don't like i may even close before finishing.
