After several years of letting myself go I wanted to get back into shape so I dusted of the weight bench and started having at it. I spent about 20 minutes a day working out. But I knew that this was not going to be enough of a work out to get back to where I wanted to be.
One of my co-workers (and some of my family) always raved about the P90X program and how well it worked so I started looking into it and doing some research on it. After a few weeks of that I decided to give it a try. At this point I had heard many great things about the program.
I am now into my fourth week. Reaching day 30. The end of Phase I. Let me tell you, it is probably the best decision I have ever made. I am seeing great results. I am in the best shape of my life and I still have 60 days to go to complete the program.
Each day when I come home from work (sorry, not a morning person) I actually cant wait to start the work out. Most of the workouts are about an hour long which helps me because I dont have a lot of time. So I highly recommend P90X if you are looking to get into shape, lose weight and/or gain muscle mass.

I have had a few friends on Facebook talk about their experience with the P90X program, mostly positive. The only thing that scares me is the intensity of it all but I'm sure it's worth it to be in shape! Also, congrats to you for sticking with it this long. I don't think any of my friends lasted more than two or three weeks so not even a full month!

That's too bad.
Maybe they need a little motivation. You should send them some pics of large people and tell them they don't want to look like them.

this is a really positive review. congratulations on your success. Any routine that you stick to will give you results. I watched the infomercial on p90x and agree that it looks intense. I also know that the beginner workouts aren't so intense as to turn you away. I like that you don't need a gym to start the program because this allows everyone to participate.
Keep with it bro!
